Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our inventory, and click 'Add' on any items that you wish to buy, to put them into the shopping cart. You will then be asked how many you wish to buy. After you have finished making your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the USA, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction from US Dollars to your own currency, at the prevaling exchange rates.
Payment can only be accepted in US dollars or pounds Sterling. We accept checks, wire transfer, American Express, Visa/Mastercard. All prices on the site are in US Dollars. There is no minimum order amount.
You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, post or over the Internet.
All prices are for post 1945 flatware, if you require pre 1945 items, please state at the time of order. There are specific surcharges for pre 1945 items due to rairity. Call or email us to confirm prices, or to request specific items.
Shipping And Handling
We will pack and send your order in two business days, if the goods are in stock. Shipping and handling costs are calculated at the time of order and added to the total bill. We will undertake and pay for insurance on the goods.
Delivery Schedule
We process your order right away. Where we hold the item in stock we ship the order within 5 business days. North American, and European orders are generally received in under 5 days. Rest of World receive orders in 7 days. All times are subject to customs clearance. Where items are NOT held in stock delivery will occur once the entire order has been assembled.
All goods offered are subject to prior sale. We therefore recommend placing your order online, or by telephone or e-mail to reduce delays. In the event that we are unable to meet the full requirements of an order we will dispatch what we can and provide a prompt refund on the pieces we cannot supply.
If part delivery is unacceptable please state so at time of order.
Goods are normally dispatched from the UK. Any custom or duty charge is the responsibility of the customer, apart from flatware items, on which we will pay any duty.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Credit Card Security
We use Secure 128 bit SSL (if your browser supports it) encryption so your order is 100% safe. We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. All Georg Jensen flatware sold by thesilverfund.com is guaranteed to be in excellent condition and to be free of excessive wear.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the quality of the flatware you receive from us, we will refund your payment, less handling and shipping charges, and any custom's duties, for any pieces returned to us within 30 days from purchase.

Returns
thesilverfund.com will accept returns of products for any reason within 30 days of invoice date subject to the terms and conditions above. This does not affect customers' statutory rights.
thesilverfund.com will not refund any original shipping and handeling charges associated with returned items, other than for defective merchandise. thesilverfund.com will arrange for the collection of the goods to be returned and arrange for the delivery of the replacement products if any.
